Our Estimation Process
NJ Painting Company.

Our process is designed to ensure a seamless and satisfying experience for our clients. We take pride in our attention to detail and commitment to excellence, and it shows in every brushstroke.

A Transparent Look at How
We Serve Our Clients

Step 1. Contact Us

Either submit a request through our website or give a call. We will return your request or call the same day or the next business day if you contact us after hours or on the weekend.

Step 2. Phone Consultation

Once we understand more about your project and what is motivating you to paint, we can share some pricing information for similar projects that we have done for other clients.

Step 3. On Site Visit

Prior to meeting at your home to review the project we will send you some informational videos about your project, the person you’ll meet with and the process of working with us. At the end of the visit you will receive the written estimate from your sales person. If they are unable to provide the estimate at the time of the visit for some reason, you will receive it the next business day.

Step 4. Scheduling

A 10% deposit will get your project on our calendar. Once that is received you will get an email confirmation and a tentative date for your project. Many times in the summer we can be booked out 8 weeks or more so your date may change slightly. Once we are closer to the start date you will be contacted to confirm the actual start date and time. If you have an exterior project, power-washing will be done roughly two weeks before painting begins.

Step 5. Pre-Job Walkthrough

On the day the project is scheduled to start your Project Manager will meet with you and anyone else involved in the project and review the estimate, job site, and particulars about your home. All to make sure that they and the crew understand your expectations.

Step 6. The Prep Work Stage

You’ve heard it before that prep work makes the paint job. This is where all of the important detail work is done that leads up to the actual painting. Scraping, caulking, priming, masking, and rotten wood replacement.

Step 7. Painting

People are always amazed at how fast this part of the project goes compared to the prep work. This is where the fun happens and your home gets protected or takes on a brand new look or both

Step 8. Post-Job Walkthrough, Touch Ups And Final Payment

Similar to the pre-job walkthrough the Project Manager will walk the project with you and take care of any touch ups and collect the final payment.

Step 9. Follow Up Call

Within a week of completion our office will check in with you to make sure you are satisfied. It also gives you a chance to let us know how we did and if you’ve noticed anything we missed.
